Literacy in Mission

Mission Community Foundation recognizes that reading and writing are keys to success. It supports students through scholarships annually to help them further their educational knowledge.

However, unknown to some in our community is that Mission Community Foundation also provides grants to Mission Literacy in Motion and funding to the Fraser Valley Regional Library.

Funding for Mission Literacy in Motion is used for programs like Little Buddies, Infant Massage, Mother Goose, and Thursday Clubs. In addition, the Library receives funding annually to purchase supplies for our local branch.

Monies for these disbursements come from Mission Community Foundations Community funds and the Friends of the Library Fund. If you are interested in supporting these programs, please consider donating today!
