Official Opening of the École Mission Central Elementary Community Garden

Today marks the official opening of the Community Garden at Mission Central Elementary School.  Mission Community Foundation was one of the organizations that provided funding for this special project and are pleased to be part of this fantastic community building adventure.  The opening was attended by the Mayor and fellow city councilors as well as various members of the general public and the organizers are happy to announce that as of today, 21 of the 24 sections have already been rented.

Congratulations to the committee and volunteers who spearheaded this project.  We hope that this garden remains open for many years to come.
